Attorney Yaron Keidar
Lawyer since 1992. Between 2004-2008, Cohen Adv. Keidar served as Registrar of Associations and Head of the Corporations Authority. As part of his role, Adv. Keidar established the Corporations Authority, coordinated under it the offices of the Registrar of Associations, Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Mortgages, Registrar of Endowments and Registrar of Partnerships, shaped the image of the Corporations Authority and headed it. In addition, Cohen Adv. Keider held a variety of managerial and legal positions in the public and private sectors: Legal Advisor to the Knesset faction (1992 to 1994) Legal Advisor to the Histadrut (1994 to 1997) Partner in a private firm (1997 to 2002) Member of the Antitrust Court (1999 to 2003) CEO of a pension fund (2002 to 2003) Advisor to provident funds (2003 to 2004) Chairman of the Public Council of the “Midot” organization (2012 to 2016). Advisor to the National “Round Table” (2008 to 2018) which brings together the government sector, the business sector and the third sector. Also, as an advisor to round tables in the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Economy and the National Emergency Authority. Currently, he serves as a member of the Public Advisory Committee, in the Tax Authority, Regarding dealing with Section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance. Adv. KedarKeidar holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Laws degree (with honors) in Public Law from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Laws degree (with honors) from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Attorney Karen Schwartz
Attorney Karen Schwartz has been an attorney since 2001. In the years 2019-2022, she served as the Registrar of Associations, Endowments, Public Benefit Societies and Ottoman Societies. Attorney Schwartz holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Public Law and a Master of International Law. Attorney Schwartz also served as a member of the National Council of the Bar Association and has over twenty years of experience in the public sector, including as the head of state legal aid (in practice) and in leading cross-cutting projects on behalf of the state, including government resolutions and initiating and accompanying legislative procedures alongside advisory and legislative departments in the Ministry of Justice and acting as the Attorney General. She also served as a director on various public councils and as a member of public committees. Currently, he lectures to master's degree students at the Hebrew University in the Nonprofit Management Program and in the Directors Course at Reichman University. Attorney Schwartz has extensive experience in administrative law, including writing opinions on the subject,; Iin regulation, including in everything related to Ministry of Education licenses (ownership), and accompanying in-depth audits by various regulators.

Attorney Shuli Weiss
Attorney since 2011. Adv. Weiss holds a BA in Education and Humanities from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as an MA in Nonprofit and Community Organization Management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Adv. Weiss holds an LL.B. from Shaarei Mishpat College of Law in Hod Hasharon. Adv. Weiss served for approximately 17 years in various positions in non-profit and community and social organizations, including many years in senior management positions.

Aharon Farkash
President of the Jerusalem District Court (retired) Honorable Judge Aharon Farkash Honorable President Farkash graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a law degree. In 1984-1985, he interned at the Supreme Court with the Honorable Justice Shoshana Netanyahu and at the State Attorney's Office with the Director of the Civil Department, Adv. Pelia Albeck. In 1985, he was admitted to the bar. In 1997, he was appointed as a judge of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court, where he served for about 7 years. In 2004, he was appointed as a judge of the Jerusalem District Court and in 2012, he was appointed as Vice President of the Jerusalem District Court. In 2016, he was appointed as President of the Jerusalem District Court. He retired in 2023. During his years as a judge, the Honorable President Farkash tried a wide variety of areas, including major economic cases, business disputes, real estate, torts, contracts, and more. In 2024, President Farkash joined our firm and deals with mediation and arbitration.

Mossek Carmi
The Honorable Judge (Retd.) Carmi Mossek, served as a judge of the Jerusalem District Court and coordinates the areas of mediation and arbitration in our firm. The Honorable Judge Mossek, was admitted to the bar in 1980 and specialized in tort law and civil law. In 1997, he was appointed as a judge of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court. In 2005, he was appointed Vice President of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court. In 2012, he was appointed as a judge of the Jerusalem District Court, where he Cohen served until his retirement in 2020. During his years as a judge, the Honorable Judge Mossek tried a wide variety of areas, including liquidations and bankruptcies, real estate, torts and medical negligence, contracts and, personal status. He also sat for many years on a panel that tried serious crimes.

Yitzhak Shimoni
Vice President of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court (Retired) Honorable Senior Judge Yitzhak Shimoni graduated from the Hebrew University in 1974 and interned with Adv. A. Tsur and in the Land Registration and Settlement Division (TABU) in the Ministry of Justice. In 1976, he was admitted to the bar. He served for many years as a senior inspector authorizing him with the powers of the Registrar at the Land Registration Bureau in Rehovot and Jerusalem. In March 1993, he was appointed as a judge of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court. In February 2001, he was appointed as Vice President of the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court. In February 2010, he was appointed as a senior judge. In 2015, he retired and was appointed as an associate judge until 2019. During his years as a judge, Judge Shimoni specialized in real estate law, condominiums, and dissolution of partnerships, and also served as a judge of the Tenancy Court and specialized in the law of Protected Tenancy. During his many years in court, Honorable Judge Shimoni has heard numerous commercial and civil cases and has extensive experience and knowledge in these areas. In 2024, Honorable Judge Shimoni joined our firm and engages in mediation and arbitration.

Assaf Harel
Attorney Dr. Assaf Harel is an expert in public law, a lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University and other academic institutions. Between 2011 and 2016, Dr. Harel served as Assistant to the Attorney General. Prior to that, he served as a faculty member and dean of students at the Shaarei Science and Law Academic Center and as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University. In 2006, he completed his doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University. In his teaching and research, Dr. Harel focuses on the interface between public law and private law. In addition to publishing articles in these fields, in 2008 Dr. Harel published a comprehensive book on the subject of “Dual-Essential Bodies,” which presents an analytical and comprehensive analysis of the application of administrative law to private bodies that perform essential functions and concentrate considerable power in their hands that can affect the lives of entire communities, such as: institutions of higher education, banks, social networks, sports associations, and the like. His book is cited and mentioned in dozens of court rulings and in professional legal literature.

Ron Barkai
Adv. Ron Barkai has been a lawyer since 2008. He graduated with honors from the Public Policy Executive Program at the Hebrew University. Ron has extensive experience in the field of social change organizations and consulting for many social and community campaigns. He served as Co-CEO of Chatzer Hanashit and as VP of the Shacharit Institute. In his most recent position, Ron served as CEO of Civic Leadership - the umbrella organization for non-profit organizations and the third sector in Israel. In recent years, he has led organizational and professional development processes for non-profit organizations and organizations for social change while leading multi-sector collaborations and working with various government ministries and local authorities.

Attorney Irit Brook
Lawyer since 2011. Attorney Brook holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, an MA in Educational Policy and Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and a law degree (LL.B.) from Shaarei Mishpat College in Hod Hasharon. She served for many years in a variety of senior positions in the Ministry of Education, including: Director of the Department of Youth Movements and Organizations, Shnat Sherut, Pre-military Preparatory courses, Student Villages, Educators' Groups and Torah Core Groups, and served as a member of government committees and a director in a government company. She is an expert in arranging educational and budgetary regulation through government support regulations. She currently serves as a director in a municipal company and as a lecturer for master's degree students at the Ono Academic College on the subject of "Legal Aspects in Education."

Attorney Liora Elias
In addition to being an attorney, Adv. Elias also holds a degree in business administration and has extensive business experience. Before joining our firm, Adv. Elias worked as a legal assistant for various judges. The combination of business insight and understanding, as well as unique legal experience, results in a way of working that seeks solutions for execution.
